Al-Hayl Castle is an ancient structure built about 250 years ago as the residence for the ruling family of Fujairah and has been significant in defending the area through regular patrolling and surveillance.

Established in the year 1830, Al-Hayl Castle is one of the renowned structures in Fujairah, located at the foot of the Hajar Mountains and situated close to Al Hayl Village. Set amidst a panoramic vista of date palms and mountains, the place is a paradise for photographers. Although not very big in size, its wind towers offer a magnificent view of the surrounding area.
