Heritage Museum of Al Taiba
In order to preserve the history and heritage of the United Arab Emirates in general and the Emirate of Fujairah in particular, Ahmed Ali bin Daoud Al-Abedouli established his farm in Al Taiba area of Fujairah as the “Heritage Museum of Al Taiba”, which is equipped from various aspects to serve as a museum of popular heritage.
The museum, which attracts visitors from all over the country and abroad, includes many figures that monitor the ancient social life of old houses, traditional cuisine, its components and councils, as well as costumes, gowns, accessories for Emirati women, their collections, ornaments, young people’s bedrooms, councils and a traditional water well.
Many of the figures of various ancient customs and traditions that observe the rituals of the ancient people in a number of patterns of daily life as well as displays heritage collections more than 200 years old, varied from pottery, copper, metal utensils and household items made of palm fronds, as well as old weapons, handmade musical instruments, agricultural tools, and sewing tools used in the past and some of the sea people’s possessions.
